Our services include 'Fit as Fiddle' which is a unique programme promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing social isolation for people aged fifty and over and 'Computers for Older People' donating refurbished computers to older people who might otherwise be unable to afford them. We campaign tirelessly for older people's rights and our campaigns this year, 'Activate Healthy Ageing' and 'Rhetoric or Reality' are both involved with health and well being issues; these link in well with our involvement in the Gold Challenge. Our work has a large impact and massive reach to older people living in London, decision makers and all those whose lives are impacted by older issues. With an increasingly aging population, our work supports not only those people who are over fifty now, but their children and grandchildren. Age UK London works to improve the quality of life and enhance the status and influence of older people in the capital. We work in partnership with local Age Concerns and Age UKs based in each London borough.
