The 2012km Challenge* is a great way for your school to be a part of the excitement of London 2012 and over 200 schools are taking part already!

In class, house or school teams complete the 2012km via one or more of the following sports:

Walking - Cycling - Running - Swimming - Canoeing/Kayaking - Rowing

Horse Riding - Wheelchair - Sailing - Windsurfing

Pupils can do as much or as little as they like, but everyone's efforts counts towards the grand total, just log your distances on your own Gold Challenge Totalizer.

The school or each team must choose a charity to raise money for from one of our 150 charities. There is no minimum fundraising amount but we recommend £5-10 per pupil.

Gold Challenge is free to enter and the team will take care of all the administration for you.

Easy Steps to Sign Up

1. Download the registration form from our media centre.
2. You fill in one form per team or send us the information in the easiest format for you. 
   Choose one charity per team selecting from our charity partners.
3. Send the forms to us and we will upload them.
4. Once uploaded, we will provide with the following:

1. 1. Login details for each team (including username and password)
   2. The unique team totalizer URL.
   3. Details of your fundraising page if required.
   4. A press release that you can customise to celebrate your challenge.
